Oklahoma Fall Engagement Session
There’s no hiding it, when someone who knows you better than you know yourself is diagnosed with cancer, the thought of losing them is unbearable. And when Addy’s mom became sick, the circumstances made Addy completely raw and vulnerable with her fiancé, Tyler.
Neither one of them felt in light of what was happening that they could continue to hide their feelings and so it all came out: the good, the messy, the pretty, the ugly. When you show someone everything and they still say yes, that’s one of the greatest joys and peace that your heart can experience.
Addy’s mom reminds her, “Without the rain, your life would be a desert.” It’s inevitable that pain will come, but finding joy in hard times is what helps you thrive through it.
From Addy: “After everything we've been through together, I feel like we can take on anything, do anything, be anything. It makes me thrilled to begin our life together and see where it takes us! I'm impossibly in love with him and feel so lucky that he found me.”
When life throws a terrible mess your way and your partner looks at you and says, “I love you even more than I did yesterday” that’s the good stuff - that’s the real meaning of love.
