Arizona Elopement by Rustic White Photography - The Story
We are so honored to feature this wedding from Rustic White Photography. Tiffany and Robert captured a special CH Original with us for The Captivated Issue we cannot wait to share with you later this summer. However, today we have the sweetest elopement between Angie and Jim. Enjoy reading about how they met, how he proposed and the lovely portraits from the day of the nuptials. Be sure to come back tomorrow to read why they chose this location, the details, her adorable reception dress and full gallery of photographs!
Here is what bride Angie shared with us: We actually met on match.com. I included in that profile that I do not like to camp on my profile (many girls list that they do). Jim's entire first email to me was questioning why I don't like camping - in a very joking manner. He was funny and caught my attention.
On our first date he picked me up from my parents house and just so happened to meet my aunts, cousins, and parents. Oddly enough, he came back. A little more than a year after, Jim proposed to me on fourth of July at my parents house, at the very first spot that we met. I think that's something I really value about our relationship, both of our families have been very included since the beginning of our relationship.
There are many family and friends that we would have loved to include, however on that day, our families became one, and we felt it was very important for our parents to be there. Our parents, and my aunt and uncle all have strong marriages and they are great examples for us.
We also really wanted to share the special place that we loved with them. Not to mention, I'm my mother's only daughter - and it was very important that she was there to share that moment.
We really wanted something that was personal to Jim and me, and it was important that the day was about us joining our lives together and our commitment to one another. We value simple, and special moments.
