Family Heirloom Bridals by Spindle Photography and Marked

Every young girl loves hearing about how her grandma and grandpa fell in love. There's something magical about hearing about a love story that began in a time period so long ago and far away. The photograph of their wedding day makes the stories complete. There's such youth and joy in their faces and to the little girl it becomes the most precious photograph ever taken.

Sometimes in this life it's hard to focus on anything but the next five minutes. As a bride, it's easy to only focus on the wedding day and forget about what happens the day after. This bridal inspiration shoot is focused on the moment 50 years from now when this bride's granddaughter holds these photos in her hands and exclaims how beautiful and exquisite her grandmother looks and how her grandfather is such a lucky man.

From Laura: This inspired bridal session is filled with the warmth of family heirlooms and tradition. As a florist and stylist in the wedding industry I'm constantly pushing my brides to get comfortable in front of the camera before their wedding day. What better way to get comfortable then to bring in some of your greatest family treasures to make you feel at home? This shoot by Spindle Photography features three bridal gowns from Ivory & White Bridal boutique. Each dress is delicate and graceful but is able to tell it's own story. I've added in special pieces from my grandmother like the photograph, bird print, and painted trunk. The shoot was made to inpsire brides to do something different with their bridals, to incorporate their family and sense of home.
